El Disco Es Cultura is by no means a tagline we created but rather one that we've adopted since the start. It's origins can be traced back to the 1960's where the phrase was printed on vinyl records throughout Latin America w/ no specific trademark or owner. The literal translation is "the record is culture," and we couldn't agree more.
Our brand new design makes a cameo on our heavyweight 14oz fleece hoodie in a distressed black + cream color way, a classic piece dyed garment w/ the the Lp monogram (front) and new el disco es cultura design (back). The kangaroo pocket provides ample storage for your essentials, while the ribbed cuffs and hem keep the cold out. Our piece-dyed hoodie fabric is dyed before they're cut + sewn, which results in a more uniform color distribution throughout. This means you'll get a hoodie with a cleaner, sharper look, without any color variations.
